2024 has been a big year for Mobilise, highlighted by numerous achievements and milestones. We have broadened our geographical outreach and established new customer partnerships across LATAM, the US, and Africa. This includes Tier 1 MNOs in LATAM and Europe, and our customer base in the US has now grown to 14 MVNOs. We have made strides in earning global accolades for our eSIM solutions, continually advancing our HERO platform with new features, including eKYC, AI, and more, enhancing the value we can offer our customers. Our team has also grown more than 20% in the last year – a sign of great things to come.
These wins showcase our team’s commitment and the power of our HERO platform. Looking forward, our target is clear: to provide seamless digital experiences and empower both businesses and consumers to remain connected in a world where being connected has never been more vital.
Breaking New Ground in Nigeria
In February of this year, we were thrilled to announce the launch of our Tier 5 MVNE services in Nigeria. A country with one of Africa’s most exciting and fast-growing mobile markets. With over 200 million users and a telecom sector valued at a whopping US$9.09 billion in 2024 (and set to reach US$11.43 billion by 2029, according to Mordor Intelligence), Nigeria is the place to be for telecom innovation. And we’re here for it!
As Hamish White, our CEO and Director at Mobilise Communication, put it:
“Mobilise has helped over 40 MVNOs launch services in ten markets, and we see a huge opportunity for MVNOs in the Nigerian market. We are excited to contribute to the vibrant telecom ecosystem in Nigeria and beyond. This is an exciting time not only for Nigeria’s telecoms landscape but also worldwide. This innovative model is essential to enabling mass digitalisation, which is something that the consumer market is increasingly demanding.”
Mobilise’s HERO MVNE platform, allied with a full range of consultancy services, is set to provide MVNOs in Nigeria with the opportunity to access an ’off the shelf’ product that removes the need for complex integrations and allows MVNOs to focus on its sales and marketing activity.
Nigeria isn’t just a telecom giant; it’s a hub of opportunity and creativity. By bringing our solutions here, we’re tapping into a massive market and helping to write the next chapter of digital transformation. With our HERO platform and consultancy services, we’re all about helping MVNOs shine in a market hungry for fresh ideas.
Mobilise at MWC24 Barcelona
Another year at the Fira Gran Via, and once again, Mobile World Congress 2024 has left us buzzing with inspiration. This year’s theme, “Future First”, set the tone for an event packed with conversations on how enhanced connectivity, collaboration, and digital-first experiences reshape the telecom landscape.
For us at Mobilise, it was a chance to connect, share our vision, and learn from the best. The future of connectivity isn’t just about speed or coverage; it’s about seamless, personalised experiences that truly put the user first. MWC24 reinforced the importance of collaboration, with every corner of the industry pushing towards a shared goal: enabling a more connected, digital-first future.
Mobilise Recognised as a Challenger
In August, we were thrilled to share that Mobilise was named a Challenger in the 2023 eSIM Orchestration Rankings by Counterpoint Research! This prestigious accolade underscores our unwavering commitment to delivering cutting-edge eSIM solutions and highlights our incredible strides in this rapidly evolving space.
In Counterpoint Research’s Global eSIM Landscape report, we’re proud to be among notable Challengers such as Tata Communications, Valid, Tripica, Moflix, and Invigo.

This recognition reflects our robust platform capabilities and positions us as a strong contender for shaping the future of eSIM technology.
This achievement wouldn’t be possible without the hard work and passion of the Mobilise team. Their dedication to innovation and excellence is the driving force behind our continued success.
Being recognised as a Challenger isn’t just a milestone; it’s a launchpad. We’re excited to build on this momentum, continuing to push the boundaries of eSIM orchestration and deliver exceptional solutions for our partners and customers worldwide.
Expanding Connectivity
We’ve proudly partnered with multiple service providers, including digital mobile operator Gist Mobile, to revolutionise its operations and bring cutting-edge eSIM functionality to its customers. Leveraging our HERO digital business support system (BSS) platform, Gist Mobile now delivers eSIM data connectivity packages, advanced VoIP capabilities, and an upgraded backend experience. All designed to enhance the travel segment.
With the integration of our eSIM technology, Gist Mobile customers now enjoy streamlined in-app eSIM activation for Android and QR code-based activation for iOS. This upgrade not only simplifies the process of staying connected abroad but also introduces competitive combo bundles tailored to the needs of travellers. Offering cost-effective global connectivity, these packages position Gist Mobile as a strong alternative to local operators internationally.
“Travel eSIMs are a growing market — our own survey revealed that over 73 per cent of travellers consider remaining connected abroad on their mobile device, using mobile data, an important part of travelling. And in particular, Gen Z and Millennials are keen to find a cost-effective, simple way to achieve this,” explained Hamish White, CEO of Mobilise. “Our work with Gist has created an app that is a game changer, offering high-quality global connectivity at competitive prices with unique bundles tailored to their needs.”
